FFA Cup Final Preview

FFA Cup Final Match Preview

Sydney FC v Adelaide United

It doesn’t get any bigger than this. Adelaide United will travel to the Harbour City to face the reigning Champions, Sydney FC in the Westfield FFA Cup Final at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday night.

Will Marco Kurz’s Reds make it a historic second Cup win? Or will Graham Arnold and his army finally get their hands on it?

Recently, both sides have won in the league ahead of the Cup, which should boost their confidence. Adelaide may be the underdogs, but don’t underestimate the Reds, and their loyal following.

It will be a monumental moment in Australian football, where two very well-coached sides will battle heads.

One’s to watch:

Ryan Kitto – what an impact he has had so far, surely someone who will look to make a difference on the park. A goal perhaps?

Daniel Adlung – instrumental to Adelaide’s midfield, and has gelled into his position well. Can score a cracker!

Milos Ninkovic – You can’t go past the stellar Serbian, a player who will definitely be dangerous on and off the ball. This playmaker will surely conjure up some magic.

Bobo – Very threatening and hard to stop once he picks his moment to shoot, and he will score. Allow him the chance and Sydney will be quite difficult to hold down.

Jordi Buijs, Michael Zullo and skipper, Alex Brosque will definitely step up to the plate on the big stage. And will the Great Dane, Johan Absalonsen play for Adelaide? A big question, one that will surely be a game-changer.

Sydney FC v Adelaide Utd Tuesday 21st November at Allianz Stadium and live on Fox Sports.
